The ‘C’ Division team began their inter-school campaign against their first opponents from Canberra Secondary School today. The boys have trained hard under the guidance of Coach Sonia and were ready to emulate the success of the senior team by doing well in the tournament. The other teams in the same group are Hillgrove Secondary School, School of Science and Technology and Bukit Merah Secondary School. The team will need to play at their best to qualify for the next stage.

After four years of gruelling training, the pioneer batch of the Catholic High floorball team finally tasted medal glory, putting them on par with other sports in the school.

In the B boys’ final, Catholic High surprised favourites Victoria School 6-3 to clinch their first national floorball title.

There is no better day than the final day of the term for the finals of the 5th National Inter-School Floorball Championships to be held. Victoria School prevailed in a penalty shoot-out after a 6-6 draw with Bukit Merah Secondary School, and Catholic High School defeated Northland Secondary School with a last gasp goal to meet each other again in the final match of the season. Both teams have played in the earlier quarter-final round and Catholic High School came away 3-2 winners.

After a long and grueling season, the semi-final finally arrived for Catholic High School. The team will be facing Northland Secondary School today to vie for the rights to play in the finals on Friday. It has been a long journey for both teams, having played a total of 9 games, with the latest match played only two days ago on Monday. However, players from both sides are gunning for the win and it is definitely going to be a close and exciting match.
