The last friendly game of the year was against Greendale Secondary School, also preparing for the competition in a month’s time. Jie Ying, Samuel and Ryan put the team ahead in the first period, marred by a goal conceded.

Everyone was looking forward to the friendly game against Victoria School and greatly motivated to play their best today. After a long journey, the players warmed up and were ready to go from the first whistle.

The game today was against St. Gabriel’s Secondary School and with each game, the players were looking to improve on their game both individually and as a team. However, the team took a while to settle into the game with only Joshua and Billy scoring in each of the first 2 periods. The opponents pulled a goal back in the second period to stay within touching distance.

River Valley High School had their ‘A’ Division players over for a friendly game today and Catholic High School more than welcomed them. It was a good match for both teams as we were both looking to gain more match experience under our belts.

This was a friendly match that many players were looking forward to as it is not often that they get to play against a top Junior College team. Several players were unable to come for the game today but there was no stopping the rest as they prepared for the match earnestly.
