SFA Division 4 »
The team faced NYP for their fifth game of the season. After 2 wins and 2 losses, the players were eager to do well this time round and everyone looked sharp during the warm up. As the coach briefed the team, the players were reminded to pay more attention on their defence, to settle into the game quickly and block off any shots that may come in. The team got past the first few minutes confidently but on the stroke of the 5th minute, NYP scored a brilliant goal which no one could have stopped.

The team got off to a bad start, conceding within the minute after failing to close down the opponent. Bouyed by their early goal, they continued to press on and were rewarded again in the 10th minute. Jarryl pulled a goal back to keep us in the game before the period ended with a bench penalty to the opponent.
National Inter-School »
Catholic High School ended their hopes of qualifying for the second round of the National Floorball Championships even as they overran Assumption English School by 9-1. In a game that the team needed to beat by almost 16 goals, the players started off well, keeping the tempo of the game high and always pressuring the defenders in an effort to win the ball back for possession. With a superior number of shots at goal, the team could only agonize at the numerous near misses which they attempted.

The players were looking to make amends following the previous game and came to the court ready in their new jerseys. The opponents today was Swiss Cottage Secondary School. With 2 losses and a win, they would be looking to inflict some damage and try for a late surge for qualification. Catholic High School would need the win to keep their hopes of qualification alive, but this motivation will have to be translated on the court into some concrete results before it can be possible. It did not take long before the game was underway as the whistle blew for the start of the match.
