Daredevil vs Team CH
Following the win last weekend, the team was keen to put in another good performance today against Daredevil. There were several familiar faces as the opponents arrived at Choa Chu Kang Sports Hall and we recognized some of them as former players from Si Ling Secondary School. The team was quietly confident of their chances and knew that a favourable result is definitely within their grasp so long as they play according to plan. After a short delay to register the players, the game was on.
Team CH did not take long to open the scoring with Darius notching the first goal of the game in 3 minutes. Darrell scored with a nice assist from Joshua less than a minute after, and Yuren managed to tap the ball under the goalkeeper after being put through by Isaac. Chee Keong finished the period with a great finish 3 minutes from time.

Daredevils vs Team CH
Choa Chu Kang Sports Hall
4-9 (0-4, 1-2, 3-3)
The opponents were clearly frustrated and it did not take long for one of them to commit a foul leading to a 2-minute bench penalty. Crenshawn scored with an accurate backhand shot into the far bottom corner in the resulting powerplay. Louis added a second but Daredevils pulled one back towards the end of the second period.
Chee Keong scored his second goal 4 minutes into the third period to increase our goal tally. However, Daredevil kept themselves within touching distance with another goal in the 6th minute. They got themselves into trouble again with another bench penalty, which Jiawei capitalised with a superb shot into the top corner. In the 15th minute, a line change confusion resulted in a bench penalty for us, and the opponents nicked in another goal just as the player was about to be restored.
The opponents got themselves another bench penalty which the team exploited to full effect, Crenshawn cutting the ball back to beat the goalkeeper for Jarryl to shoot into the gaping goal. Just before the final whistle, the opponent scored another goal following a rare mistake by Derek. It was of no consequence as the game ended 4-9 in favour of Team CH.
The coach was satisfied with another disciplined performance by the players, with the results to show for it. The alumni players were a tremendous boost to our line up and everyone contributed to the win. Good job!
