Catholic High School headed into the game, hoping to put in another winning performance against Northlight Secondary School. A victory today would certainly consolidate our position in the group and set us up nicely for the second round. The team arrived early as usual to watch the earlier games and prepare ourselves mentally. However, it was not to be as our bad habit returned to haunt us again with a horrendous display in the first period.

This is the inaugural awards for the floorball league this season. Although the results are solely decided and voted for by the coach himself, he promises to be fair in his judgement and back his decisions with statistics when possible. Any objections raised shall be reviewed and resolved by the all mighty and powerful coach.

We have come to our final game in the league and with the Chinese New Year festivities still ongoing, many players were unable to make it. I suspect the lure of red packets is still greater than an opportunity for some floorball action. With two ‘B’ Division matches coming up in the following week, this was a chance for the junior players to be involved, so I was quite disappointed with the poor turn out. Nevertheless, those who make the effort to come will definitely be able to gain much experience from this game.
