Training Schedule 2009

Please note that attendance is compulsory and any absence from training must be supported with valid documentary proof as per school rule. The absentee is responsible for submitting all such document/s to the teacher-in-charge on the next school day when he returns. Absence without valid proof is considered truancy and disciplinary actions will be taken against the offender.

New Training Ground

After the months of waiting, we can finally move into the new indoor sports hall! Looking back at the past months, we had to train in the limited space outside the canteen, subjecting ourselves to the weather and occupation by other CCAs. On top of that, training in the multi-purpose hall could only take place in mid-November after the national examinations. Today, we were allocated a permanent training ground. It was to be a place where we can call our own, with a grand view to boot.

The Psychology of Winning

And that’s the attitude coaches and athletes should aim to foster – the attitude to do every task – regardless of its nature – to the best of their own ability. Where the other athletes have asked of themselves “Can I do this” or “How can I do this”, one athlete has asked “How can I do this well and maybe even do it better than expected”. The athlete has challenged him/herself and been motivated to complete a relatively simple task to the best of his ability.

CHS vs P9

I was overseas and unable to make it for this game, but having seen the scoreline, my guess is that history repeated itself in the first period. P9 scored the fastest goal in the tournament in 8 seconds after the face off and never look back since.
