Pasirian Pirates vs CHS

It was our third league game and it seems like we are building up our reputation as the thrashing boys because once again, we conceded 7 goals in the first period. Nothing seemed to work out for us and it did not help that the opponents were lucky in some aspects. On our side, we gave away a number of soft goals and made numerous technical errors during line changes and set plays.

CHS vs NYJC

It was thanks to Darius and Adrian for arranging this friendly match with Nanyang Junior College. I did not expect much for this match as we were lacking in players, so after deciding the lines, the players were left to their own devices. NUS Uncles vs CHS

And so we marched on to our next league game against NUS Uncles. This team comprises of several familar faces as a couple of them were my teammates in the hockey league. We were left to experience for ourselves what they were capable of in the game as we slumped to our biggest defeat in the league.

CHS vs NJC

Courtesy of Darius and Adrian, we managed to arrange a game against National Junior College, who were also looking for sparring partners. After the previous friendly match against Coral Secondary School, the boys were determined to better their performances, but efforts to play against similar secondary schools were to no avail. Hence, we welcomed the NJC players, nevermind if we had to play against bigger and older opponents. It was also good to know more old boys who have picked up the game.
