Sport On! Street Floorball 2009
Floorball took off as an official CCA in the school some weeks back and we decided to send in 2 teams for the 3-on-3 floorball carnival. The boys only had several training sessions under their belt but they were eager to experience some real floorball action against other players. Despite being outsized and outplayed in all their matches, they showed tremondous spirit and kept playing. They did not qualify for the second round of the competition but I believe the boys have gained much experience.
We will continue to take part in such tournaments because it will improve individual skills and decision making process as the game is played on a much smaller court and reaction time will become a luxury. Form your teams soon!
